Shawna Walker

Ms. Walker is a Michigan native and attended Grand Valley State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies and a minor in Criminal Justice. In addition to her undergraduate studies, Ms. Walker holds a certificate in Child Protection from Harvard University.

Shawna began her legal career with the Kent County Office of the Defender where she supported numerous attorneys in trial and case preparation in all aspects of criminal law. As a paralegal at BGA, Shawna brings dedication and litigation experience to the team. She regularly handles complex legal and administrative issues in support of our clients.

Outside of BGA, Ms. Walker is pursuing a master’s degree in communication at Grand Canyon University and serves as a volunteer mentor for young girls ages 12-18. Her interests include traveling, reading, and spending time with family.
